Printmaking Made Simple – July 21, 2018

Do printmaking the easy and inexpensive way!

Using a homemade gel plate, you will experiment with inks and a variety of tools to create beautiful prints with ordinary objects, flowers and leaves. Beverly will demonstrate how to make an art journal using an old book and gel prints, and provide ideas for collages and cards. A list of materials and the recipe for gel plates will be included so you can continue your  low-cost printmaking at home

Materials Provided
Gel plates, printing inks, paper, brayers
Old books, black greeting Cards
Pressed leaves and flowers, Stencils

What to bring to class:
Apron or old shirt to protect your clothes

Date & Time: Saturday, July 21, 10 am – 1 pm 
Cost: $10 per person, $25 for a family of 3+ ( payable to Vacaville Art Gallery)
Supplies fee $5 per person, $10 for a family of 3+ (payable to instructor in class)
Location: Vacaville Art Gallery Annex (directly behind the Art Gallery’s little blue house on the hill)
